    Also Stroke and Write-on effects create that sort of look. They won’t exactly be caligraphic, but they could reveal calligraphy in an image/text file.

    If you have a pressure sensitive tablet, Paint will perform lovely strokes, just like you want. Ain’t easy.
    Suggest you invest in Angie Taylor’s book, Creative AE7. (total disclosure: I’m a big fan of hewrs and I received a free copy of her AE5 book.)

    what i meant was a graffiti tag type of look for the stroke.
    the brush needs to be kind of tilted, wide and thin.

    i have created with trapcodes particular something that looks allmost the same but it’s way too heavy and slow to do.

    Sorry if i miss lead a bit on this one.
