  Calculating Still Image Size

  Hi Folks,
  I shot a dance performance in DV, but a chum also shot stills on his Canon. Some very nice shots. Want to use some of these under the final credit roll.

  How do you estimate the size these pics should be made for import? For example, I have one shot that is in JPEG at 1,111,522 – Is there any rule of thumb here?
