    Hey team,

I know this question has been asked before but I’m utterly stumped right now.

I’m back at square 1 with After Effects. I’ve noodled in it before, but am starting over and feel like I must be making some obvious mistake.

At present, I’m just trying to do basic title movement and am immediately getting hit with the “Cached preview needs 2 or more frames.”

We’re talking, I’m just moving a square around right now and it’s apparently a no-go. I’m either getting the error message or just a few frames or animation before it starts over.

    Things I’ve done
    1. Computer has 40 gigs of ram
    2. I’ve reset the work area as appropriate
    3. Cache size is at 20 gigs in preferences.
    4. I’ve reset preferences and such.

I’ve run over pretty much everything the basic tutorials say to do and it’s just caving my head in.

    Anyone got a quick guess?

    Thanks

Try changing, then reverting the audio output device.
    Random, I know.
