Cache Media Files
Could someone please advise on a workflow issue I’m doing. I have just left FCP and learning Premium now and want to avoid making some bad decisions up front.
I’v noticed in preferences when I change the Cache Media Folder in PP it does like wise in AE in other words it all goes to the same place in all the APPs. since in resides in the Common Folder in application/support/Adobe/Common I guess. My question is.
1. I would like to put the cache media folder not the database folder on my RAID where I’v put all my projects as well. In other words the Common Media Folder would take advantage of the RAID speed instead of being on my Boot Drive. Does this make any sense at all, or, should I put the database folder there as well or leave it as is, any advice would be more than welcome.
