    I cannot acces CAC files on the HPX 2100. This can be done on the cheaper hpx500 and the more expensive HPX 3000. Can I type in the correct values in the lens file instead and what are the values ?
    Maybe the CAC files will be accesible in a future software upgrade for the camera ?

    Ask one more time- you might get a better answer. I’d suggest giving Panasonic tech support a call on this one. Should be a number at the back of a manual.

    Hi,

    If the lens you are using is a CAC lens then that will be in the automatic registry with the camera. So your question really doesn’t make sense in that you would not even necessarily have to choose it or put any numbers in.

    ????

    Thanks,

    Hi;

    The AJ-HPX2000 (US) and AJ-HPX2100 (Europe)cameras DO NOT support the CAC lens correction function. That feature is only available on the HPX500 and HPX3000 cameras. Just FYI the 2100 for Europe is the same as the US 2000 except for the dual filterwheel.

    Hope it helps clear up the confusion.

    Cheers!

    Boy do I feel silly. When I read the initial post I was thinking of the 500 and the 3000, and not really reading the question. Yes you are right Steve there is no CAC function in these two cameras.

    Thanks for the splash of cold water.

    Best,
