C4D Training Course?
Hello
I am currently working as a motion GFX designer using AE and would love not only to be able to use the Cinama 4D as another string to the AE bow, as I know they hook up well…but also my aim is to obviously become competent enough to use C4D as a stand alone bit of kit.
I am then asking you nice people if you could advise me on any quality training courses you know of?..My work is willing to foot the bill within reason and I am more than happy for them to give me the oportunity. My requirements are basically the course must be in London…and be suitable for my level and my desired level. My current level is quite basic I think…. I have had a few stabs at modeling very basic shapes using Hyper Nurbs and have used my cameras and light afew times as well…my knowledge of the interface isnt to bad but my knowledge of the terminology is a bit sketchy.Anyway, thats about it…..I hope someone could point me in the direction of a suitable place.

I’ve been looking for this myself but haven’t had any luck so far in the Los Angeles area. If you look through some of the older posts on the board you’ll find some good training courses on DVD and you can also contact Maxon directly to inquire:

Yepp, Mash is your best bet here. If you can afford 1 to 1 tutoring with him i doubt it gets any better

Yep- I tried them but they were just not able to get it together for me yet. I think I’m on a waiting list with them for the next class they do.

You might want to try them again. I think they have a class in mid-November. I was going to do that one, but decided to go individual instead.
