  • C4D to AE camera motion blur problem

I have a scene where the animation is created mostly by a camera movement. Exported it to AE. At some point the camera just pans relatively slowly. When I turn motion blur on in the AE comp it seems to interpret that the camera is banking like hell while panning, creating major random radial blur.
    Anyone familiar with that issue?

the only thing i can say is that the MB switch in AE only puts
MB on real 3d movment in the AE space, to get MB in rendered clips
you should think about a plugin like “real smart blur” where you have a lot opportunities to bring it in in post. or try the “force motion blur”
    filter.

maybe i am wrong but the MB switch in not what u need if you have clips.

IF you are working in 3d space try changing the shutter settings in the advanced tab in the comp settings.

    thats all i could say..

To be more precise, I exported the compositing project file (with the camera), and its the 3d layers added in AE that blur that way when turning MB on.
