Hey guys, I have encountered an annoying problem that my c4d shut down without hints everytime when I start rendering a specific project. But other projects stay cool. I have no idea that which setting I might have mistaken in this project can cause such problem..

Does it generate a bug report? You can check by going to the prefs folder listed at the bottom of the C4D Preferences dialogue. There should be a bug_reports folder there. Check the date/time of the files, if there are any. If there are, send them to Maxon tech support and they may be able to tell you what the problem is.

Thanks mate, unfortunately it seems that there are no such files.

So much for the easy way. Anything in particular different about this scene compared to your usual files?

i thought that was cause by the settings, but actually it occurs again when i copy all the objects to a previously work project. Thus i think it
might be some problems in these objects, but there is no difference from my previos, no plugins. The file of the project is even way smaller then others, only around 1000 KB.

i think i just find the problem. It works after i disable some groups that contain multiple objects. But i wonder if it’s normal for c4d to crash if there are some complex parent relation between objects to be rendered?
