c4d r24 and .mtl files
Hello!
I’ve been dealing with this for years but occasionally I like to re-ask this question to see if anyone else has found a solution or plugin.
Why doesnt c4d support .mtl files? It has the option to upload the .mtl file when opening a model but it never imports it and the few plugins ive found over the years for it only work for a certain version or no longer work at all. Its easy enough to reattach the images to the materials but slows down work flow tremendously.
TLDR;
Does anyone know a way to get .mtl files to upload through c4d? either via a plugin, script, or through c4d itself.
