I have searched endlessly and tried everything I have found. Nothing has worked yet!

I have a basic seen with 2 Extruded Text Objects. It has no background (so it still has the C4D default black when rendered.)

I need to know how to export my scene as a Quicktime movie with transparent background for compositing into AE & Combustion.

I have rendered out quicktimes with millions colors+ and a host of other thingsthat were suggested, and nothing seems to work.

HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

as long as you have Millions + it’s one of the codecs that support an Alpha…. it should work… have you checked off Alpha Channel in Render Settings/Save?

Yup, Millions Colors + and alpha channel selected.

I have been rendering with Make Preview and saving the movie straight from QT. Am I supposed to use Render Preview for final quicktime output? I read another post on the same issue and the advice was to render to picture viewer and it worked for that particular person. But I dont understand how picture viewer would work for a movie. Could someone just give me the steps they take to ensure that the alpha is rendered? Thanks
