C4D background image is distorted
Hi guys,
I’ve looked high and low for a solution to this simple problem and no luck.I’m adding a backgound image so that I can composite some text onto it in C4D but it get’s squashed.
The image is 2592×3888.
So it’s portrait and when I import it, it just get’s squashed down. Where do I change the settings in C4D so that I can see the image at the right aspect ratio?Many thanks,

HI an answer two years later. You need to set the render viewport size to the same size as the image you are using for the background material
