  C4D 15 and AE CC Workflow

  Need a good workflow from AE to C4D and back to AE.
  I have actors shot on green screen I will key in AE then send to C4D. I will place these 2d planes in 3d environments and then use object buffers to send everything back to AE for compositing. Now with C4D Lite in AE am I taking the long way around? Or is there a better way to do this?
