C:32:60 error – solutions/repair options?
I have an NX5U showing error code C:32:60 (relates to focus and the image is indeed out of focus/unable to focus)
Anyone have experience servicing this error or sending it back for repair? Suggestions on how to proceed? I’ll probably call Sony on Monday but I’d like to know if there are any other recommendations/options out there.
Camera is not under warranty.

The camera will not hold focus in manual or auto.
In manual mode if I roll the ring into focus it will immediately drift out of focus again.Menus, etc. still work.
Factory reset has no effect.

I had this problem, and they repaired it under warranty.
They replaced the entire focus control board. I do not think there is anything else you can do on your own.
Best thing is when you send it in, reference the posts on the site which talk about this problem. Suggest that it was a bad design and please could they consider this a warranty item.
