    Hi Guys,

Working with the C300. I am trying to output to a macbook pro as a monitor. I don’t have a large monitor and I would like to have one on an upcoming shoot.
Does anyone have had experience with this? The monitors I have are too small. Also the macbook doesn’t have an in other than USB.

    Thanks

    Paolo

Do you have the Wi-Fi transmitter accessory for your C300 (the WFT-E6A)?

If so, that’s the only way I know of that you’d be able to view the C300’s live output on a Macbook that doesn’t have any inputs. Even then, it’s not good for really “live” monitoring, certainly not as good as a real monitor… it’s very laggy.

In a perfect world you’d wanna be able to hook up a monitor via HD-SDI. I’ve never done that though, because we don’t have any field monitors with HD-SDI inputs… so we just use the HDMI out of our C300PL for monitoring.
