C100 questions
hello –
just bought a C100 and have a few questions if anyone has a second to respond..1. do you recommend using generic batteries? there are some on amazon that replace the BP-975 that are £40 instead of £200 but obviously I need something reliable.
2. any recommendations for a good backpack style bag to hold the C100, shotgun mic, radio mic kit, LED toplight, and 3 lenses (1 small prime, one small 28-75 zoom, one large 70-200 zoom) & accessories
3. am i right that all footage will need to be transcoded to ProRes to bring into Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro/X?

I’ve used a mix of generic batteries and Canon. Seems the trade off is in the recharge performance. Canon seem to last longer.
I’ve been looking for a suitable backpack and haven’t found the right one just yet.
I’m not certain on FCP anymore but no problems bringing footage straight in to Premiere Pro. I don’t believe you’d need to transcode.
