  • C100 mark ii 25p…recorded as 50i?

    Hello

I’ve just moved to a c100 mark ii and was getting ready for my first paid shoot on it tomorrow; I need to shoot interlaced for broadcast..

In the manual it states that the PF25.00 option (set to 50mhz, I am in PAL land) is actually ‘recorded’ as 50.00i

I can select a 50i option…so why if I choose to shoot PF25.00 would it ‘record’ as interlaced? I’m guessing this is not ‘true’ interlaced? I shoot for a good mix of broadcast and online end-uses so I’d like to nail this from the get go!

    Any explanations very welcome

    thanks
