    B/W shots from Camera Raw becomes Red..

    Hi..

    Not a PS-pro..

    I’m trying to make some B/W pics from some .JPGs.

    I found a nice tutorial on how to create b/w and nice grain in Camera Raw-mode.

    So I open up my original .JPG in Camera Raw (through Bridge) and set it to B/W, do my grain thing, but when I save it as a new .JPG it becomes monochromatic Red…

    Any ideas?

    Hmmm, sounds like a channels thing. Try bringing it into photoshop as a color image, then apply the Black n White layer. Also, make sure all of the RGB layers are active – not just Red.

    Save early. Save often.
