September 28, 2006 at 12:28 pmSorry … buzzwords? (A buzzword (also known as a fashion word or vogue word) is an idiom, often a neologism, commonly used in managerial, technical, administrative, and sometimes political environments. )
I’m not sure what you mean. Where are you inserting them? Using which tool? How?
Which characters are not recognized? By what?If you want to use the text tool to create words using non-English characters, try Googling the words, then when you find them with the proper characters, copy and paste the words into the text tool. You could also type using different keyboard layouts (check your OS’s help) or have someone else create the text in Illustrator, then save a copy of that Illustrator file with text as outlines. That’s how I did chines and japanese – the client typed the words then saved as outlines.
If that doesn’t help, we need more information, please.

September 28, 2006 at 12:36 pmHi,
I am using the “buzz words” Expressions text animation preset. The problem is you can not paste in any non-English characters, because the script does not recognise it. -

I’d use graphics, and make a fifteen-frame (or whatever) movie with one word graphic per frame, then import it, set to loop in the interpretation dialog.
