Buying lights for large green screen
Hi folks,
I’m in the process of buying lights for a pretty big greenscreen/cyc. The screen is about 14′ tall, and forms a curved corner with 20′ on either side. What I’m trying to figure out is how many lights I need to light this, how big the lights should be, and how far away and at what height from the screen they need to be. I’m attempting to do this with coollights (https://www.coollights.biz) and their kino knock-offs. I’m not sure if I should get 2,4, or 6 bank, etc.
The ceiling is very high (warehouse) so I can do pretty much what I want there.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I guess what I’m looking for is some kind of standard math like – you’ll need so many watts of kino power at a certain distance from the screen and at a certain height…
Again, I was thinking of 5 4 bank 55w kinos for each wall…

You can get away with four 4-lamp Kinos on each wall.
