Thanks for the tips. Why do you say Broadway is shady? I have heard a couple people say that, but no one has an explaination or personal experience. Also, I want to avoid ebay because I would like a warranty when I buy a $3k camera.

If you want a warranty, do *NOT* buy from Broadway! Broadway is not an authorized reseller, they do not carry Panasonic USA product (they only carry gray-market imports). If you buy from an authorized dealer you get a warranty, the DVX Book/DVD, the $300 rebate, the CGR-D54 battery, and a box of the new AMQ tapes, all for free. If you buy from a gray-marketer you get NONE of that stuff. Instead you’ll get a Japanese or Canadian camera, one that has no warranty at all in the USA. You’ll have to send it back to Japan (or Canada) for warranty work.
