  • Buttons appearing too early!

I have created an animated menu in after effects and imported it into encore. The ‘play’ button is on screen throughout the animated menu and i don’t want it to appear until the animation is complete. is there a way of setting the button to appear at a certain time so it isnt on screen until the animation is complete?

I ran into this, too, so I’d be interested if there is a clean solution. I worked around it by adding my ‘play’ button as a graphic within my animation (when I wanted it to appear) instead of part of the Photoshop menu. I’m assuming your play button is a graphic and not an actual button subpicture. If it is a subpicture, then you need to change your loop point to the time where you want them to be active and appear.

You should be creating the text for your menu in the after effects animation. You can control when the highlight starts to display by setting the menu’s Loop Point.
