  button highlight not working – mac issue?

  Hi everyone,

  I’ve seen quite a bit written in forums about this issue but nothing that has helped. I’m working with CS5 on a Mac Osx and I’ve created a menu in Encore. At some point during the menu navigation editing, the highlights on the buttons stop working. They don’t show up in preview or on the burned DVD.

  Under the layers tab, the eyeball is de-selected for all of the highlight fields and Encore won’t let me turn it back on. Encore won’t let me re-name the field from “(=1) highlight” to “(=3) highlight” as some forums advised.

  I imported the menu into Photoshop and was able to change the highlight name to =3 and re-select the eyeball, but when I imported the changed menu into Encore the eyeballs were still de-selected even though the name had changed.

  I’ve heard some advise that I should delete my encore preferences folder but I don’t know where that is; all i can find is an .xml file called ProjectPrefs2.

  Is the button highlight problem a bug on Mac? is there a work-around?
