  ‘burning’ subtitles added in DVD authoring process

  We made an hour-long documentary that has now been translated into about 20 languages. Most of these have been available as subtitle options on the DVD, which was authored in DVD-SP. Now I need to upload some of these to the web. I tried ripping the DVD with both Handbrake and DVDRipper, both of which have subtitle options, but in neither case do the subtitles show up in the MP4 output. FYI the subtitles I’m working with at the moment are Greek, if that makes a difference. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
