burning a feature to dvd
Hello, I color corrected a feature in FCC and I’m going to burn DVD’s, is there a difference in quality between burning to a duel layer DVD as opposed to just burning the feature on to a larger gb DVD? Thanks!!

Maximum size of a single-layer DVD is 4.7 GB. A dual-layer DVD stores 8.54GB. So to get the visual quality you want for a 2-hour program, see how big your encode is and then decide. Compressor and BitVice will both produce excellent results with surprisingly low bit rates. Definitely use 2-pass encoding. I use both those programs, but generally run some tests on difficult scenes with both, before deciding which one to use.
