  • Burning a DVD that works on DVD player and computer using ISO?

    Posted by J. a. Losi on October 2, 2006 at 1:07 am

Question for those wiser than I:

How to I create an ISO that will allow my DVD to play on conventional DVD players and computer DVD drives?

I exported my movie to an ISO using Premiere Pro 2.0, and then am using Nero to burn it to DVDs. They work excellent in my region 1 NTSC DVD player, but my computer won’t recognize them.

What can I do so they run on both?

    Thanks!

Does your computer have an MPEG2 decoder installed?

Okay — that seems to solve it. Now the computer understands what it is, and will even play it! Yay!

But…. it appears to vibrate/flicker slightly. Better than nothing, but not 100% there yet.

    Thanks!
