Hello, I have a situation I’ve encountered a few times, and was wondering if anyone knew why it was happening, here’s the deal…

I live and work out of San Diego, and travel literaly EVERYWHERE… I use an Arri kit, (1K, 2 650s, 1 300watt, chimera…) and ocasionally a Photogenic set, but the bulbs are the same. The last two times I have traveled to Miami and set up/turned on the lights, the bulbs immediately burned out… I have replaced 12 lamps between 4 lights. Only in Miami. Not in Pennsylvania, San Francisco, etc…. I have thought it may have been due to the humidity change, but I just don’t know… The first time I went, I packed the bulbs separately from the lights, didn’t help… Has anyone else experienced something similar, or have a solution? By the way, the second location had an excellent power source, it was a club setting with top-rate wiring, designed for multiple lights….
    Thanks for the info….
