I am having a problem burning a dvd that looks right. During the dvd playback, there are lines running horizontal when the video is paning right or left. It looks ok when there is no paning. I think that it is an Export problem. I did Export this way: File > Export > Quicktime Movie. A Quicktime movie was created in my media folder. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening.

That is field reversal. The fields on your DVD are opposite of what they should be. Meaning…. it sounds like you had D1 (720×486 lower field) converted to DVD (640×480 upper field).

Can you tell us what format your edit was done? Is it DV, DVCPro, DVCPro50, what?
