  • burn CD with seperate tracks?

Posted by Brian Pitt on October 24, 2005 at 3:15 pm

I have an hour long audio file of a friends band that I want to burn to a CD. I burned a CD, but it is one long track rather than a track for each song. Is there a way to add markers in audition and burn with each marker being a seperate track?

It’s your lucky day, there is a very easy way.

    Follow these easy steps.

    1. Add the Audio file to a session (Multitrack View)
    2. Go to where you want the next track to start. (you know move the yellow marker there)
    2. Hit Shift+F8 (PC) and it places a CD Track Cue marker there.
    3. Go to -> Edit -> Mixdown to CD Project -> All Audio Clips.

Then it opens the CD Project View for you.

There you go (this will add a 2 second pause between tracks) if that is not what you want, then let me know and I’ll show you plan B.

    Thanks,
    Derrick

Thanks for the instructions. I actually don’t want a pause inbetween the tracks. Is there a way to do that?
