Burn a Region 4 DVD
Hello,
I am in North America and have been asked by a couple if I can burn a copy of their wedding DVD for family in South America (Region 4). My question is, is it possible to burn a DVD for a different region from the one I live in, and if so, how do I do it?
My current workflow for burning DVDs is to output from FCP and to burn the DVD using iDVD. I would prefer to burn a duplicate DVD for region 4 from iDVD, but I also have DVD Studio Pro at my disposal if that would work better.

you can set region4 in DVDSP
or, if you NOT set region, you have region 0 (region ALL) and this disk can be played on ANY DVD Player w/o problems

Right- do nothing special. It will play region 4 unless you make it specifically not play region 4- that’s the default.
