When creating new sequnce to bump up DV to Uncomporessed in order to do chroma smoothing do you leave it as a 720 by 480 sequence or change it to 720 by 486. It will be mastered to digi beta. Thanks, Harry K.

720×486. That is the dimensions of uncompressed 8 and 10-bit. The missing fields are not viewed anyway.

[Shane Ross] “The missing fields are not viewed anyway.”

?!? Missing lines, perhaps? What I think Shane meant was the 6 missing lines of video will not be seen on a regular TV because they’re in the overscan area.
