If I am moving a camera through an environment with objects that have bump patterns on them, How do I emphasize that bump towards the distant objects and lessen the strength of the bump as the camera approaches? Is there a way to make this happen dynamically? I’m not talking about reframing a bump on an object as it approaches the camera. Think of blades of grass that have a shared bumpy texture.

    Thanks.

another possibility is Fresnel, if the camera viewpoint stays pretty much level you can use that.
