  • Bump Map not rendering (little red circle indicator?)

Hi, for some reason, my bump map isn’t rendering and it’s unchecking itself whenever i change frames on the timeline. Now, if I do a live region render, it will render the bumpmap, but if I do an actual render, it doesn’t.

There is a little red circle next to the bump map section in the materials editor. And that can’t be good but I can’t find out how to correct for this. Or what is causing the red circle to appear. My bump material is a greyscale .bmp image. Also tried grayscale .jpg to see if that was the cause. The bump is being applied to a text spline with extrude nurbs applied.

It’s really weird that it CAN render in interactive render region and render view. Anybody know what can be causing this? Thank you!

I think you must have accidently set a keyframe on the Bump property there (is the bump on or not). Just right-click on “Bump” and mouse over Animation (top one) then choose Delete Track in the contextual menu that pops up.
