bulge effect distortion
Hello,
I’m fairly inexperienced with after effects, and i have a problem with this comp i’m working oni have several layers of images that pan left on the comp using a null.
i’ve created an adjustment layer that bends (BULGE) the images so that it mimmicks half of a cylindrical room. (Basically the images get smaller(farther) towards the center and stretches on both sides)- this will be the background for a green screen input.So hopefully that gives some sort of impression of what i’ve done.
THE PROBLEM IS THE BULGE.
it has created a warped-pixelated-distorted crease near the center of the comp.
i have no clue how to execute this comp without sacrificing the bulge.
any feedback would be very much appreciated. sorry for the long read.-j

Try precomping and using the CC Cylinder. You will need a huge radius and plenty of time to experiment. You might even be able to use CC Sphere.
Great fun but these filters require are bit difficult to grasp.
