building 3d comp of paths layers without their effect being on?

unfortunately that’s not an option at all, as every precomp contains COMPLETELY different looking plants/flowers/trees.

GOD I WISH THERE WAS A WAY AROUND THIS! im very frustrated right now…

its shocking that there’s no possible way to select multiple layers and see all of their paths together!!!

I understand that there are limitations. Perhaps your client has insisted that certain flowers be visible, but you’d be surprised at how different you can make two identical objects look.

For example, each of the leaves on this plant are actually the exact same leaf, rotated and scaled slightly:
