  Build Cancels by Itself – Cannot Complete DVD Burn

  I have a fairly simple Encore CS3 project – Main Menu, Chapter Submenu, and a 35 minute movie brought in from PP. The ‘Check Project’ window displays no problems.
  When I click the Build button, all seems fine until the DVD drive starts writing. At this point, a message reading ‘Canceling’ appears (as if I’d clicked on the ‘Cancel’ button – although I had not) and shortly afterwards the disk ejects. Then Encore displays as ‘Not Responding’ and is locked up.
  My system is Win 7 64x, 4 gig ram, and 3 tb disk space. Antivirus and Carbonite have been disabled. I don’t think this is a hardware issue, as I’ve been using After Effects, Cinema 4D and ProAnimator with no problems.
  Every time I try to burn this DVD, Encore destroys the disk and crashes. And I need to complete this project! If anyone can assist me, I’d be very grateful.
