Wondering if anyone else has run into this – the leading settings in Adobe CS4 are markedly different to those in CS3 – For example, using a leading value of 0 with a point size of 30 on my text I can’t actually get two lines of text to touch each other or even overlap. The only way around this is to us a much bigger point value than I need and scale down the text – or split my text on to two separate text layers and manually adjust their position.

Has anyone else run into this issue? I’m guessing its a bug because the leading settings in photoshop CS4 are absolutely fine – with a value of zero two lines of text perfectly overlap.

    Ok.

After further investigation it looks like this issue is isolated to one of our machines – another one with a clean install of CS4 is fine – the one in question had a previous installation of 6.5 and CS3 that were deactivated and removed. Possibly something corrupted along the way.
    Will try a re-install.
