  Brush stroke on type problem

  Hi!

  I’m trying to give some text (outlines) a grungy look and feel. I added a bush to the strokes of the characters. Works on all characters, except for the S and y, see example below:

  

  How can I fix this? Or is there an easier way to get this done in AI or PS?
