  • BRU managing library destinations problem

    Hi,

I’ve been using BRU for my archiving for the last few years and have never had this happen. Not sure what it is.

As per usual I set up a new library destination by going into BRU preferences > devices > default library destination ‘manage’ > create new destination > check the required slots > save.

when I leave the library manager and look for my library I have just made its not there and when I click back on ‘manage’ the library I just created is not there – it’s like it just doesn’t save.

Does anyone have any insight on this? very strange and as I said I’ve been using this for archiving for the last few years and this has never happened. Its all updated and I’ve restarted etc.

What version of BRU PE and have you restarted the UI?

Okay – first step, please update your BRU PE version to the 3.1.6 version. You can do this using the “Check for Updates” option in the Help menu.

Next, if the destination still isn’t visible, please open a ticket at https://support.bru.com. If your support is expired, please select Demo and add a note to the ticket mentioning I wanted you to open the ticket. Finally, open a Terminal and do this:

    ls -la “/Library/Application Support/BRU PE” > ~/Desktop/bru_pe_env.log

Attach the resulting file (on your Desktop) to the ticket.
