  • Browser problems anyone else?

Posted by Tony on June 26, 2005 at 9:57 pm

I seem to be having a problem only when I am in the FCP forum. I am running Firefox on my Mac OS 10.3.2 as well as XP on my windoze laptop.

The issue I have is sometimes the view posts and change forum links do not work. This generally occurs after I after pressed read entire thread and I try to back out by hitting the view posts link.

My only options to back out are either to hit the back arrow or go to another forum via my bookmarks.

    Anyone else having similar issues?

i am on safari v2 and have had those and other problems on this site only, every ofther website i go to works amazing, it’s just this one thats always acting crazy, do you get the jumping page when you step back from a link. i have emailed them and they have answered me back but they cant fix it. I wonder whose program they use to create this site cause there has to be a better way, anyway this site is so out dated it’s 2001 all over, lol.

    Ange,

I discovered that the problems are not limited to the FCP forum. I appears to be random on other forums also (digital photography) .

Ron is there anyway to return back to the same Cow functionality and features prior to the upgrade or in this case downgrade?

    Thanks,

Running Firefox and Safari on OS 10.4.1 on my G4 laptop, Internet Explorer on Windows XP HP Desktop, and Safari on OS 10.3.8 on my old G5 Dual 533 and everything’s working fine on each with the whole Cow.

They are migrating to a new server so some hiccups are to be expected for a few weeks as they work through whatever issues pop up.

    Walter,

Where the heck did you find the dual 533 G5? No wonder you are not having problems like the rest of us. You got machines that no one else ever had.
All joking aside I assume you actually meant to say dual 533 G4.
