I have a customer in Denmark (:PAL country) who are going to make a commercial for US Television, and the raw material come from computer graphics that he are going to put together in a movie. He receive the data in a format called WRAW at size 1024×768, and it seems to me, that it’s something like “Wide RAW” codec.
What size/codec/framerate does he have to use in US, will it be HDV/Video with 29.97 FPS, but what size for NTSC Widescreen, and I assume that it also will be a size using non-square pixels, or ….. ???

I think we will make all the editing in the WRAW format (if possible) and as the last step, make the recompressing to MPEG-2, or are there a better way/more efficient way to get the job done ?

Hope some can help, and I look forward to hear from the “forum”

    Kind regards from Denmark 😉
