  Broadcast Monitor recommendations

  Hi. I am purchasing my first broadcast monitor for color grading and since I’m on a very tight budget, I am torn between two affordable monitors. One has a 1:1 pixel mapping for 1,920x 1,080 but is only 8-bit. The other one is 10-bit but does not have 1:1 pixel mapping which downscales videos to 720p. Both monitors are small, about 15″ to 17″.

  I’m using Premiere pro and will connect the monitor through my Matrox MXO2 mini. I know people will tell me to buy something else but these are the only ones I can afford. Which of the two is the wiser buy?
