Broadcast monitor not showing the whole image
Hello
There is something strange going on, it looks like some simple setting somewhere but I haven’t found it. We have a 1080i Pal sequence on the time line in FCP and when it plays on the broadcast monitor it only shows part of the image like a 1/3 of it. We are outputting the downconverted SD image but it’s not showing the whole thing. And in other SD projects it’s fine.
We are using a G5, dual 2.5 Ghz, Kona 2, and X-raid

Sounds like you’re set up to crop the edges off the image rather than showing you a letterboxed image in the downconvert. Look at the AJA Control Panel and see how your downconvert is set up.
