Hi guys, i wonder if you could help out a guy who is standing in the broadcasting wilderness here. I have a brief for a competition broadcast which i have completed in after effects. We did not receive the container information till after the project was finished so i just made the project with the fact i would have to tweak it at the end in mind.
Ok so using the standard after effects SD 16:9 is what i want to go for and below is a list of specification i need to adhere to:-

    HD 16:9
    1280×720 .mp4 container
    video: H.264 codec @ 2000 kbits/second 2-pass VBR
audio: AAC codec, 320kbits, stereo 44.1kHz

    SD 16:9
    640×352 .mp4 container
    Video: H.264 codec @ 750-800 kbits/second 2-pass VBR
Audio: AAC codec, 320kbits, stereo 44.1kHz

    SD 4:3
    640×480 .mp4 container
    video: H.264 codec @ 1200 kbits/second 2-pass VBR
audio: AAC codec, 320kbits, stereo 44.1kHz

If anybody could explain what route i should take to achieve the SD 16:9 then i would be most grateful.

basically what comp setting should i use in after effects to acheive this? and how then do i encode it. Sorry if this is a really sill question but i thought i’d give it a shot.

    many thanks.

    chris
