If all I need is to make video broadcast color safe, do i need to have a calibrated monitor or should I simply use the Broadcast Color Effect?

If I apply the Broadcast Colors effect to a footage, does that automatically make the footage broadcast color safe?

Also, do I need to use the Video Limiter effect? Is it required to make my video broadcast safe? Thanks and God bless.

For others reading this thread, note that Ryan has asked the same question on the After Effects forum, too, and gotten some answers there:

Hi Todd. The reason I asked it here is I’d like to know if I can also do it in Premiere Pro. This way, I don’t need to go to AE just to make my video broadcast legal, in case my project is being done in PP. Thanks and God bless.

I wasn’t suggesting that you not ask here. I was letting people know where they could look to see what information you’d been given so far.

I see, Todd. So, can I do that in Premiere without going to AE? Thanks and God bless.

Yes, there’s a Broadcast Colors effect in Premiere Pro, too.
