  Broadcast analog video to digital storage

  I have 120 hours of analog BetaSP tapes that I would like to store in a digital format. Could someone please recommend the best way to go? I’ll need to cull the digitized video, select the best takes and store for archival purposes. Is there software available that allows me to create a shot list to store along with the digitized footage?

  My thought is to use Final Cut Pro or an Avid system to capture the 120 hours and store to several or one large storage system, approx 6 tetrabites in size.

  Suggestions, advice or help is appreciated.
