Is there any tutorials out there (for rookies) that shows how to bring in multiple video movies and move them around in 3d space? Not sure how to go about doing it. ie, do i need to create a surface then apply it as a texture, or something like that?

Relatively new to this, I am!

    Thanks!

Yep, you need to create the videos as textures and apply them to planes.

Why not use AfterEffects for this kind of work? It’s a bit simpler, I think…

yes AE will to it, in fact I’m bored with doing it in AE, so I’m trying to find other ways of doing it. Thought it would be neat to try it in a 3d app so I can incorporate other fully 3D elements into my comps. While doing this I hope to learn the level of interaction between C4d and AE. Not sure what exactly can be passed back and forth yet.

    Thanks!!

Haven’t had a chance yet, been too busy with paying clients… I’ll post back when I have something.

    THanks!
