bringing up sound in just one part of a track
Hello
I am mixing and have various tracks and in one track I want to lower the volume drastically of a foley sound in fact take it out..I tried using the razor blade and then applying the audio mixer to just that area but it applies it to the whole track. How do you just lower one sound in a track?

PS You could do it the above described way in 6.5 I guess old habits die hard.

I’m not at my edit suite right now, but I recall a way of marking the sound line in PPRO 2.0 without having to razor cut the track. This mark is like a putting a curve point in illustrator.
You can lover that section just by pulling it down like a rubber band. If nobody else jumps in here, I’ll find the way of inserting the markers tomorrow.

Yes old habits die hard Jack. I see the rubberband tool fooled you too. Select the Pen tool, and use ctrl key and click. You then have the same capability you had in 6.5.
Also now I am not the only one feeling stupid for not reading the manual.
Thank you Tim Kolb for pointing this out to me, and now I can wisely pass it on to you Jack. With a sense of humor of course.
