June 7, 2008 at 1:13 pmDo you mean having the finder windows disapaer when you activate an application? I don’t think there is a way to lose the finder windows. In an application, usually command + H will hide the application, but finder windows? Not so much…
If you find a way, post back!

June 7, 2008 at 2:27 pmHi jon,
it’s actually that I can see avid’s window panes behind finder windows or any other application windows. And I click on one of the pane’s like the source/monitor pane and only that pane comes forward, the bins, timeline, settings panes stay behind the till I click on them or the avid icon in the dock, and then all the avid pane’s come forward. I just want to click on any avid pane and have them all come forward.as for finder windows, I don’t know how to make them disappear when I click into a different application. If I find out how I will post the secret.

June 9, 2008 at 1:43 amTry using one of the modifier keys (I don’t run Avid on a Mac anymore, so I don’t have a way to check this), like alt or command.
