Brightness shift in Premiere Pro verses FCP
Recently I brought an old uncompressed 10bit quicktime into premiere pro and noticed that there was a dramatic shift in the brightness, as compared to same file opened in FCP7.
Stranger still, when the same file is transcoded to Proress 422 it has no brightness shift. I’m not sure what’s going to cause this to happen (maybe a color profile thing or an automatic gamma issue?), but I’d be great to get some more insight from the collective minds of the cow. -

Are you seeing this shift viewing the internal or using external scopes using an I/O card or are you seeing a shift on the encoded files from each NLE or is the perceived brightness or luminance shift only on your computer monitor in the program window?
