    How would you add a brightness FX gradually over time on a clip.
    Other effects have keyframes but I don’t see any on the Brightness & Contrast FX.

    Should be the same as any other effect – make sure you haven’t changed the size of the window – try pulling down the bottom edge.

    It seems like the quality of the picture was not as sharp when I used the Brightness FX. Do you loose picture quality using some of these FX’s?

    Personally I prefer to use Colour Curves rateher than Brightness & Contrast. B&C affects the whole picture, whereas CC gives you the choice of affecting just darks, mids or brights.

    Operator error.
    The bottom of the Brightness window was hidden below my workspace and you have enlightened me here.
